How to Apply
Please apply to Poland in the Rockies by sending the following materials to us:
- The Poland in the Rockies application form;
- Your CV /resumé;
- Two letters of reference, at least one academic;
- An essay (600-700 words) on the topic: “Why I Want to Attend Poland in the Rockies.”
- Presentation topic (if applicable).
A scholarship in memory of Jagna Wright has been established for a student with a special interest in the Soviet occupation and the deportation of Poles to the USSR during World War II.

Scholarship applications will be accepted to May 3, 2008 with all applicants notified of a decision by May 15, 2008.
It is our goal to grant as many full scholarships to successful applicants as our funding permits. Such a scholarship will cover the entire cost of the program including tuition, eleven nights accommodation, three meals per day, transportation from Calgary to Canmore, and organized excursions.
Successful applicants will be required to pay a registration fee of $100.00.
The following factors will be considered when reviewing applications (not necessarily in order of priority):
- academic background;
- areas in North America from which scholarship funding is raised;
- volunteer work;
- your essay;
- your letters of reference;
- geographical diversity.
