The Polish Canadian Association of Calgary
is accepting applications until July 1, 2004 for scholarships to attend
“Poland in the Rockies”. They will be awarded to deserving individuals who
would otherwise not be able to attend the program. Scholarships will be
awarded to both Americans and Canadians of Polish descent and we invite
applications from across North America.
In order to apply for a scholarship, the
following must be received by July 1, 2004:
1. Applicant’s resume;
2. Two (2) letters of recommendation;
4. Applicant’s essay as to why she/he
should be selected to participate in “Poland in the Rockies”.
N.B. The scholarship will cover the full
cost of the program ($3500.00 Canadian/$2625.00 U.S) and this includes
tuition, room, meals, and the cost of organized group excursions. It does
not cover the cost of transportation to/from Canmore.
